If the keys on your laptop feel stiff when you press them and don't return to their original position it will probably be that you have spilt something sticky on your keyboard - what the hell do you do with your laptop!! Or it was wine??.. To clean keys on a laptop will require you to remove the keys... Only take one off and ensure you work out how to put it back on before removing more. you then need a cotton bud and a small amount of cleaning fluid (tiny amount - alcohol based if possible) to loosen the gunk.. Be careful... If the key looks like its depressed (and has no spring in it), then the spring that holds them in position has broken... If you tell me what kind of laptop you have, I might be able to get one for you... You will have to remove the key, and replace the spring with the new one (very fiddly).... Hope this helps.. DD
