The room does move very fast. I hope you are finding your way now Hotfitter and making lots of mates! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Kelly, is there any way you can mail the admin account and say what happened? Thanks babes xxxxxxxxxx
Apart from Sharpe books, does Bernard Cornwell do crime etc? I read a historical novel of his, but I never seem to browse his books, they do seem varied.
tell you another novel linked to Jesus Dynasty General, which is brilliant, "Cross Bones" by Kathy Reichs.
More than welcome! biggrin It should have said JAMES!!!! I type too fast sometimes!
Jamers Tabor. It really isn't a religious book but because of it's title it is usually in the religion section.
If you want a great non fiction to follow the film, try, "The Jesus Dynasty".
Agree with all of the above. Also jel's excellent point about non whispered conversations, you are more than welcome to join in. People are expecting you to join in guys, that is how we get to know you! :rainbow:
Book was great, "Angles and Demons" is just a copy of "Da Vinci Code".................not worth reading. "Digital Fortress" is good too.
Not seen it yet am stiil trying to persuade other half to take me!
I am the same as you ur4. Mind like you, I like to think nothing I whisper is offensive. Perhaps it is fairer to say if you whisper and are specifically asked not to?
Thing is, had admin not estabished those people they knew were genuine, no one would have been able to establish anyone. Anyway, admin like to play as well, it's very possible that people established by admin have actually met them.
mmmmm....prometheus sounds a wee bit promiscuous chained to the rock with poor chronos wonder how long they were ..
They didn't get out much by all accounts.
Bend over and hold your breath cas..........................
Chronos (Kronos) was the Greek god of time who fled to Italy and eventually Rome after his Titan army was defeated by the Olympians (Zeus and all them) When he arrived in Italy his name was changed to Saturn, he became God of argriculture and harvests. He was married to some goddess or other, also to do with harvests, I dunno if they ever did a full swap thing.................might have done! They had a son called Jupiter, so I don't think they were able to accomodate, but travel didn't seem a problem.
Oh my god! What have I done? Aroused the pedanticism in you all! Let me find that rope
Always better than no reaction at all dave!!!!!! Pedant is a Roman word you know.................................the Greek equivalent would be................. That expensive education had to be of some use one day!
chrono is actually a latin root word for time saturn is actually a roman god but of agriculture not time although not a very good one by all accounts sorry guys am away to get an alternative life......xx........
Sorry you are wrong. Chronos is Greek, he is also linked to Prometheus, chained to the rock, Greek creation story. Saturn was the god of time and other areas in Roman life.
Oh Ian, Ian, Ian! Chrono as in chronos, latin for time, an logically meaning ordered. Admin? Post edited 13-05-2006 2:38
Chronos was Greek, Dave. Saturn was the Roman God of time. Post edited 13-05-2006 13:03
So you say......................................
Absolutely Jelandn. Lots of profiles do a tick list of what they expect, I have seen "no fat birds/no bigger than a size 10" so many times. Do these people take a tape measure out with them on the pull?
