i saw film and now reading the book . normalhy i do it the other way round. but its so complicated that you need to have the imaginary bones in place. your not distracted by placing the charicters with in context.
Book was great, "Angles and Demons" is just a copy of "Da Vinci Code".................not worth reading. "Digital Fortress" is good too.

Jamers Tabor. It really isn't a religious book but because of it's title it is usually in the religion section.

Apart from Sharpe books, does Bernard Cornwell do crime etc? I read a historical novel of his, but I never seem to browse his books, they do seem varied.
Gawd bless im!!!!!!!!
i read book first when it came out - makes u think if you into religion. then saw film - i think it is fairly true to form but the characters at roslyn were i think different. (dont want to spoil for u). and tom hanks i did not think was suited to the part.
the da vinci code is a copy of angels and demons not the other way round, i found the book to be very average and over rated, havent seen the film, will get the DVD.
Welcome to the swingers bookclub! I've just finished Patty Parfitts 'Married to Status Quo', Rossi and Parfitts 'Xcess All Areas' and one of Clarksons fine books. All very recommendable. Da Vinci? Hmmm, maybe later when I have my thinking head on! lol
BTW. Gillette Mach 3 gives a very good shave all round! Luv Ya All D. x
Dan Brown's books are easy reading which may or may not lead a reader to further books. I'm currently reading 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail', for those that don't know this is the book that D.B. was accused of plagiarising for the Da Vinci Code. As a supposedly non fiction book it is both hard going and you have to take giant leaps of faith with regard to their assumptions and conclusions. Lots of interesting stuff which with the aid of the internet you can look into much deeper. Rather than read all that rubbish this :wank: would rather indulge in a prolonged session of oral sex with a large, wax jacket wearing owner of a Land Rover. I know I can make a Land Rover go ;)

Shall I put a word in for ya? biggrin Post edited 05-07-2006 9:52
