I know when people check out my profile I'm not going to be most peoples cup of tea. But i've been a member for 2 months now and not received one reply. I have recently updated some photos so hopefully that will help.
I go into chat room and I feel nervous trying to join in it looks everyone on their has known each other for years and I feel like i'll be intruding.
I would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions to help or anyone who might take pity on an overweight forty plus gent.

Just had a look at your profile you seem a really genuine and honest guy. We know it can be a lot harder for single guys to get meets etc as there are so many of them on this site. Just chat when you are in the chatroom, you will be surprised at how friendly everyone is. Don't feel you can't join in on a conversation peeps will gladly chat to you if you are genuine.
it's all about getting to know people.

We have found that people who make some effort are rewarded in chatroom. You may however be aware that many have been chatting for months (if not years) which is why relationships show within chat. This really, really does not preclude others from joining any current threads though. It is open forum and anything said is subject to response from any person present, after all if it were private it would be whispered 1:1...Take care and have fun...xxx

Agree with all of the above. Also jel's excellent point about non whispered conversations, you are more than welcome to join in. People are expecting you to join in guys, that is how we get to know you! :rainbow:
