Hello everyone! I'm back after an extended period away (too cheap to renew my membership!) Nice to see some friendly faces in the chatroom already- hopefully catch up with people soon! biggrin
think you're absolutely right cmandcd......more rooms are the way forward
Christ i'm bored up here!! Can anyone brighten my rainy days? All i have up here is Sellafield.....send help....quickly
you've not upset anyone as far as i can tell- i just dont understand how this has got onto a topic about kicking inactive chat room members. Just saying that wasnt the point being made.
i think everyone is just missing the point- at no point has anyone suggested booting ppl for inactivity.....that would be absolutely stupid for all the reasons you've all given. The point originally made was that the 'lobby' should be used as an initial, transient entry point. From here people should be encouraged to start their own rooms, initiating more managable, readable sessions with people free to switch between rooms at any point. At the moment the 'lobby' reguarly has 70 people and numerous conversations going on between different people- not a bad thing, all i'm suggesting is that to make it more accesible and inject a little diversity into the chat room, USE the 'create room' function. Having multiple rooms, each with their own atmospheres and different things going on is, i find, more fun. Just wandering between them and seeing how ppl are/whats going on is always enjoyable. In my honest opinion this would result in a much more interesting, usable and accesible system- and probably help speed the chatroom up! ps: apologies for the long post! biggrin
my point exactly- it makes for a better atmosphere in my opinion
OK- bit of a rant here...but i think it'll help everyone. I just wanted to suggest people take advantage of the 'creat room' function in the chatroom. People can make their own rooms and spread the load of people a bit. From previous experiance its much easier to communicate and more fun swapping between rooms. Just a thought.
just make it a pay only site, give the admins the power to exclude individuals (with an appropriate appeal system for any potential errors) and let 'em waste their money!
individuals can remove comments made about them- so i assume they can remove ifit's not the intended content. This of cousrse is dependant on them wanting it removed! Otherwise i think it might be a job for admin. It is worth noting that users dont get informed when comments have been added for them- so letting them know and asking them to remove it might be the est course of action.
i went to erotica a year or two ago in Manchester. Its an entertaining day out- we only spent a few hours there and probably would have struggled to stay much longer. The show is very good and theres pleny of seating and bars- although these are pricey! The stands themselves are the usual sex toys etc with a handful of quite interesting speciality stalls- my favourite was the roman armoury! ;) All in all it was a good day- although it did feel like a glorified sex shop at times (nothing is free and it can be very commercialised). We didnt dress for the occasion- just jeans and a t-shirt....but many had made much more of an effort. I'd say it was about 60-40% dressed up to casual- by no means would you feel out of place either way! hope this helps and have a good time smile
i'm interested- i tend to write enough jibberish on here so i might as well get paid for it!.....1000word rants here we come!!!!
All fair points- i cant say i've been witness to this attitude from single males myself but then i've not been in the chat room much lately- but when i have the atmosphere does seem different. My point is not everyone is like what you describe- but as most of you have all quite fairly pointed out- not everyone is like that. Guess i was just in a 'touchy' mood last night! sorry smile PS: i wasnt saying couples werent satisfied with their sex lives- quite the opposite....that some people might have differing opinions on what 'swingers' are and do.
I don't doubt you're satisfied in your sex life, and i can understand your objection to being labelled such. However, its obviously touched a nerve for you to start a thread and 'rant' about it. Perhaps the 'single male' in question has a point- albeit a badly worded one- in that you're sex life is different to the norm. Perhaps i'm off on a tangent, but nevertheless it's obviously an issue how 'swingers' define themselves. What i find disturbing in our post is the use of 'single male' as derogatory terminology- not what i'd expect to hear from a self styled 'liberal' community....if that's what we are?
I think you'll find the north/south divide is actually Watford Gap- not watford itself. A fair point though.
i swing cause i have no 'real' friends and i got bored masterbating.
Hello....i'm very new to all this. This seems and awfully professional site- i'm very impressed. I'm really wondering what 'swinging'- what its all about really and how it relates to amateur croquet. I've always wanted to improve my stroke and any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks, Ta Ta.....
Thats certainly a diconcerting thought.......if i have lost something am i entitled to a refeund... or victim support? Maybe my insurance covers it..... *bio plods off to get a crime number from the police*
