hi to you all, This is my first thread on this site, and would really welcome some help.. [/quote] Well Ceylon1, If it's lower back pain, you have two options: 1/ a good hot water bottle applied to the lower lumbar region then liberal application of deep heat. This will soothe the pain, and relax the muscles in the area. Option 2\ you lie on you front, naked. I know what you're thinking but stay with me. biggrin

Then as a qualified Dr, I would need to squirt a good quantity of oil to the area and gently rub, using fingertips only - I could use other things, but you would have to direct. The key part to this suggestion is that my hands wouldn't stay local to the the initial seat of the pain :D.... They would wonder - oh yes they would wonder.... I would go for option 2, but its up to you.. Can I ask how you got the pain - detail is important to the development of a treatment plan.... Dr_Dave

My Med degree was purchased over the internet from a made up college in Wichita, Kansas biggrin

.. I passed with flying colours. :mrgreen:. OK, so my surgery training was a bit of a challenge, but I mastered the skills needed using the game operation from MB games (you know the one).... So, I will be only to glad to offer full body examinations when needed. :D
