Sick and tired....................
Having known Ur4it for a couple of years we can honestly say we have never seen him be abusive or rude. He only ever whispers us to say "Hello" and is always polite.
We only reply to people in whisper if we want to, Generally we will just answer whispers in the main room. If we don't like a whisper we just don't reply, it's not really that difficult.
I think it's true to say, though, that single fems get absolutely bombarded with whispers, more than anyone else (certainly when I was with a single fem once she showed me what it was like in the chatroom from her point of view - I was shocked!). When you get THAT many, it's not simply a case of just ignoring them - they completely intrude on any attempt at conversation they may be having with other people in the public chatroom, and ruin things.
Some people (and again, I've seen this for myself on someone else's login session) just DON'T take the hint, persistently whisper, and worse make lewd and often downright offensive suggestions about what they'd like that person to do on cam. I know that to a certain extent anyone who opts to display their cam has to accept that they can't control everyone who looks at it, but you can see where the frustration comes from.
I think Tally's coming in for rather more than her fair share of flak for simply trying to express how she feels about this.
I can understand that, we have all recieved the whispers, I have seen other members get some really lewd and very abusive ones. I know they are hard to ignore and yes it is frustrating. But the thing is nobody should let them get to you as hard as it is at times. They are just silly men who clearly can't go out and get a girlfriend for themselves, and have completely the wrong idea as to what this site is about!
There used to be a function in the chatroom that would allow you to block members from talking to you, maybe that would be a good idea.

Cop, brilliant idea. last week I was on the website & got completely bombarded with whispers. I told those involved to stop & yet they decided to continue & thought it was funny. i realise now i should have copied & pasted it to admin, but didnt realise this was available at the time. I was really upset & very close to leaving the site entirely. Glad I never as I know that there are some really good people out there.
I specifically put on my profile that I prefer not to whisper, but feel free to drop me an email. I assume that those who are whispering have not taken the time to read my profile & therefore do not even know what I want & what I am looking for, they must me totally out for themselves. Well good luck to them, but who wants a meet with someone who is out for themsleves, they are burning their own bridges!!!!

The option isn't there yet but it is coming. As it is, REPORT anyone who is whispering to you against your wishes. Once they are in the system they are making their own position here difficult. If they persist whispering despite being told not to, they move closer to a ban with each report. It doesn't take many reports to do this.
I was in the chat room the night CurvySue was persistantly attacked by a number of single males. I think they see a single female and are so desperate to meet one they EXPECT the single fems to be "amenable" no matter what. I have to say that on that particular night, there being no moderator in the room and bearing in mine CurvySue is a friend of mine, I had a go at trying to sort out the said single males as best I could as I could see how upset she was getting. I am just glad that it has now been made clear what people should and shouldn't do about persistant unwanted whispers xx

Bibi I'm not sure how many people are aware of your personal circumstances which I'm assuming is why you're not able to do as much moderating at the moment but I am and would like to say I take my hat off to you (I wanted a bowing emoticon here but we haven't got one on the forum) so I BOW
