I don't think your expectations are realistic, and eveyone here is looking for something extra like you.
But, consider the numbers. I live in Herts, and have about 480 contacts within 25 miles. That sounds quite good. However, maybe only 300 of those contacts really want a single male, the others have males as low priority, and probably only interested if exceptionally endowed, etc. For the 300 contacts, there are at least 7500 single males, and it may be a lot more as the search engine reaches its limit there? So now those 300 people have thousands of guys profiles to check out. Obviously this is unrealistic. So they are going to narrow the search by looking for guys with pictures (there are still over 1000) and then narrow this to ones who are tall, slim, young or whatever. Even then there will still be 100s of matches, let's say there are 600. So even if assigned randomly, then there is a 1 in 2 chance of a match.
Now the fact is that matches will not be assigned randomly. People can get a casual sex partner in a club or bar. That way they know what you look like and how you behave. They are here swinging because they want more than a casual fling, and more than an average guy. They probably want someone very exception, i.e.; good looking, well endowed, black, athletic and so on, and they probably want some friendship. So, if you are Joe Average, then you chances of success are lower. Check the number of established single male members in your area. For me there are only 8, that's 8 in over 7500 men. My chances of success are around 1 in 1000! The difference is probably because few guys have anything exceptional to offer. About half of the established men have pictures. Furthermore, these established guys are probably your competition - check out if they have more to offer than you.
Post a picture of yourself in your profile. If you claim to be well endowed, post a dick pic so people can see you are not lying. If you don't post a pic, you are unlikely to get matched. People will assume you are ugly or lazy, and simply look for guys with pics. It is just naive to say that looks don't count.
