Well...we tried !!!....The lack of support for a function that people kept asking for was the straw that broke the camels back.,,It was quite funny to hear some of the excuses that people came out with that we were giving people marks out of 10 for originality !! Quite a few scored 9 or more !! So well done !! Anyway,,it doesnt really matter..enough time has been wasted on here so we are moving on .. in an ironic way you did us a favour.!! For those people who we have had the pleasure to meet our love goes with you..for those who we havnt but decided to judge us anyway,you need to get a life !!.Hope you all have a great xmas and New Year...and that is to ALL of you.. xxxxx

For those of you who have not put your names down,,,time is running out!!..For those that have and turn up..many thanks!!...When you do turn up...just tell them your name on SP and 1 form od i.d. and you will get in for nothing!!! I shall supply them with a list of names from people who e mailed me so you dont have to pay. The people who own the club are called Ed and Maureen and their smashing people who will make you welcome :boxing:...The club opens at 9 oclock and they did tell me that there is a code of dress for the night...only if you want to!!...its gals in mens shirts.....otherwise just come as you sre!!.

Just a tip Richard...not the nicest Hotel in the city and quite a distance from the venue..if the local ones are booked up I would use the Plough Motel m8...

N.P. guys...nice to see its been appreciated xxx :boxing:Right peeps,as I said before the venue has been booked.. and the date set for the Saturday 24th is FREE on the night for SP members but YOU MUST NOTIFY ME PERSONALLY VIA MY MAILBOX because I will have to submit a list to the club. Anyone not on the list will have to pay on the door so its in your interests that I have your names)Singleys are welcome so I hope that settles any concerns in that only requirement is that you fill in an application form for membership on the night OR via their website on-line (which I personally recommend as it saves time) If you do it on the night you will need some form of I.D...as you may appreciate this covers the club against any eventualities ( a small price to pay for free entry!) I think that the club are putting up a special link later in the week for SP members to join..this helps the club to know what numbers they are dealing with and prevents non SP members from trying to get in free.I have scoured the area for Hotels and have come up with 4 recomendations which cater for various tastes , prices and location.
1. The Plough Motel.. prices ranging from £35-£45 per room..alternatively 414685 and book direct. This is situated on Campbell road in Stoke and is about 3 miles from the venue. Verdon Guesthouse prices are £22 per person but availability is is the closest hotel to the venue(5 mins walk) but is a no-frills gaff!!..so dont expect the Hilton!!! Tel.. MFg1xA0b88TIgSTF Travel Lodge at Talke...a normal lodge situated on the A500 which is 10 mins drive to the venue..I would imagine normall lodge prices apply... 984 6106 Quality Hotel in Hanley..this is just round the corner from the venue..ie...50 metres..Prices are £50-£65 but there are only 10 rooms left at the time of this posting. 202361

The club have offered to open for a couple of hours in the afternoon for anyone interested in a couple of bevvies and to be familiar with the venue..obviously if everyone was to book in the same hotel then people will have a chance to meet each other in the hotel is ample parking in and around the venue so dont worry on that score!! OK..We can now confrim that the 24th November is the official date of the social !!!!! The owners have got back to us and given us the go ahead so nows the time to get that weekend off work for those of you who have to !! As of havnt spoken to them about entry costs.I aim to settle that very soon and hopefully in our favour!!
Ok. peeps,it seems like we are getting one or two interested now so I shall throw a date into the mix and see what kind of response I get....We are veering towards the 24th November so if the majority of people are happy with that then as long as the venue is not booked for then.(and I shall find out about that next week ) then we will have it regards accomodation for those who require it we are happy to recommend hotels/B&B that are in spitting you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask us and we will be more than happy to try and answer them..

Hi Guys and Gals,
For a while now theres been requests made for a meet in the Midlands and as of yet no-one has acted on as were in a position to do something about it weve decided to go ahead and see how much interest is GENUINLY out there for such a meet to take place. We have a venue ready to take us on and there are plenty of affordable hotels local to it.(assuming some people might need one) But like any meet/ will depend largely on the interest shown so if this appeals to any of you sexy peeps out there a show of interest would be greatly appreciated,As of yet no dates have been finalised as we would prefer people to tell us when THEY think it would be best for them..At the moment were just floating the idea out there but were very good friends with the owners of a new club that has opened up in Stoke and they are more than willing to host us.( let me work on them and see if we can get free entyr!!).Anyway...if your interested then just let us know and lets get this thing off the ground and moving.!!!!...the link for the club is Trapcheck xxx
