KingKong, I think the idea is good & was considering it myself, but wait to see how MK goes and if there is an interest to hold one a quarter in different places (get the blood circulating, as it were). My thoughts were; London Midlands Wales Scotland
Have you got cam? I've been surprised how many guys have been viewing me (not to mention the odd move towards me) just because I'm on cam. Especially odd as I'm not looking in that field. Use chat, get known & if you can grab a cam, I think you'll be pleasently surprised. Enjoy
Bienvenido Latino. Respecto a todos ante todo, uteliza chat para conocer gente y disfruta. ... Hay y claro, follar con toda la libertad que hay en este mundo biggrin

Do you ever feel like this when you and your computer have a confrontation, and I know you do? They say you need to be old enough to remember Abbott and Costello but at 33 I know them well, and too old to REALLY understand computers, to fully appreciate this. For those of us who sometimes get flustered by our computers, please read on... If Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were alive today, their infamous sketch, "Who's on First?" might have turned out something like this: COSTELLO CALLS TO BUY A COMPUTER FROM ABBOTT ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you? COSTELLO: Thanks. I'm setting up an office in my den and I'm thinking about buying a computer. ABBOTT: Mac? COSTELLO: No, the name's Lou. ABBOTT: Your computer? COSTELLO: I don't own a computer. I want to buy one. ABBOTT: Mac? COSTELLO: I told you, my name's Lou. ABBOTT: What about Windows? COSTELLO: Why? Will it get stuffy in here? ABBOTT: Do you want a computer with Windows? COSTELLO: I don't know. What will I see when I look at the windows? ABBOTT: Wallpaper. COSTELLO: Never mind the windows. I need a computer and software. ABBOTT: Software for Windows? COSTELLO: No. On the computer! I need something I can use to write proposals, track expenses and run my business. What do you have? ABBOTT: Office. COSTELLO: Yeah, for my office. Can you recommend anything? ABBOTT: I just did. COSTELLO: You just did what? ABBOTT: Recommend something. COSTELLO: You recommended something? ABBOTT: Yes. COSTELLO: For my office? ABBOTT: Yes. COSTELLO: OK, what did you recommend for my office? ABBOTT: Office. COSTELLO: Yes, for my office! ABBOTT: I recommend Office with Windows. COSTELLO: I already have an office with windows! OK, let's just say I'm sitting at my computer and I want to type a proposal. What do I need? ABBOTT: Word. COSTELLO: What word? ABBOTT: Word in Office. COSTELLO: The only word in office is office. ABBOTT: The Word in Office for Windows. COSTELLO: Which word in office for windows? ABBOTT: The Word you get when you click the blue "W". COSTELLO: I'm going to click your blue "w" if you don't start with some straight answers. What about financial bookkeeping? You have anything I can track my money with? ABBOTT: Money. COSTELLO: That's right. What do you have? ABBOTT: Money. COSTELLO: I need money to track my money? ABBOTT: It comes bundled with your computer. COSTELLO: What's bundled with my computer? ABBOTT: Money. COSTELLO: Money comes with my computer? ABBOTT: Yes. No extra charge. COSTELLO: I get a bundle of money with my computer? How much? ABBOTT: One copy. COSTELLO: Isn't it illegal to copy money? ABBOTT: Microsoft gave us a license to copy Money. COSTELLO: They can't give you a license to copy money. ABBOTT: Why not? THEY OWN IT! (A few days later) ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you? COSTELLO: How do I turn my computer off? ABBOTT: Click on "START".............
Mmm, not quite as I expected it to turn out, however, like any good argument, let's all kiss, make up & :doggy: . That's the fun part and why arguments exist
Having just posted my 13th thread, I didn't want to go to bed on a bad note, so... Do you consider the freedoms of love and sex to have been corrupted and repressed by religions of various persuasions over the years and still today? DISCUSS ...then again... who cares? LETS HAVE FUN! xXXx
1. Be playful with the intention of arousing sexual appetites :doggy: 2. Seduce them with your sex appeal :moon: 3. Talk & behave amorously without serious, but playful, intentions  Oh dear..... Have I become too serious?
That sounds familiar jayne_damian! biggrin Blad, it's true, as JD say, you gotta get your name out there. Although some don't reply just because... Other's I've found are poor at replying but when chatting to them in a room, we get on. Like yourself, I too was not getting any replies, then they started to treacle in. Be patient, they will come (I'm having a de ja vu of Field of Dreams!). rolleyes Meanwhile enjoy peoples company in chat, mailing is not your only option. Enjoy xXXx
Hey, Red, good tip! I hadn't noticed it & there was me clumsily juggling multiscreens DOH!
I have two face pics (at a distance) but have to admit they are not as clear as some people may prefer, but gives a little away. This was intentional as I too didn't want to be recognised too easily but as a new single male I suppose a little more risk is required, after all as a professional (allegedly) I too don't wish particular members of society seeing what I get up to in my own free time. Having said that, although it is nice to see face pics, I do not believe it is that important for them to be in the profile. An interesting story, the manner the profile is written, what the person/couple is looking for, are they willing travel or not is far better. I treat pics as a bonus to indicate a level of genuineness so anything from the profiler is appreciated. Face pics can always come later, be it by Webcam or exchange of pics (I've certainly given clearer pictures after initial contact). The private gallery does sound like a good idea and there was me thinking of rude pics! lol So, after this little war & peace (am I in the habit of going on or what? lol), no you're not silly in showing face pics. You can never be silly as long as you follow your own comfort level. Enjoy xXXx
open forum is good, yes I agree. Maybe I chose the worng the wrong in saying selecting the best replies. What should have been said maybe is the select the same answers to the same questions. E.g. what's the best way to know people? use the chat & persevere. I just believe there has to be an easier way, after all, too much information is no information, you miss what you're looking for and spend ages looking for little things that should really be simple. Maybe I have a little naivity in me, but I just wish everybody a simpler & more enjoyable life. It's already complicated, we don't need to add to it. Enjoy xXXx
I've been looking at the various fora and notice a trend in the same questions popping up, some that I recall now include; - How to meet new people - How to get started - How daunting chat is Further to his the same answers, albeit written in the individual style of each responder, is provided. The problem this presents is that newbies have a mass of information but no single repository to go to and start, therefore some, I expect, may feel disillusioned. Why is a central place not created that collates all answers to frequently asked questions? The answers are there from various members, so Admin or Mods (sorry Mods if this isn't your role) can just compile a list from best answers received. I'm sure it will improve usage of the fora. What do you guys think?
Suzanne, I second KC. You need to carry on joining chat, join the conversations and start some of your own. Like anything in life you get out what you put in. I've been chatting now for 2 months, and am getting to know some characters, and I tell you, there are some. Once you start getting established in chat you will see people starting to get in touch. You will also notice the regulars. I find them rather helpful when stuck on something or needing help/advice. These guys just seem to be in a habit of helping out where they can. You may find chat tough at first but stick with it and you'll catch up. Alternatively, if you like someone in particular invite them to a private room or join a quieter room. Enjoy xXXx
Hi guys, I started in the chatroom about a month ago. Like yourselves, found it difficult to get started as a lot of people already knew each other, however, I persevered. Trick is to watch the thread of conversations, when you have something to contribute, do so. When entering the room say hi and you should get a few replies. Don't be afraid to start new conversations. When leaving teh room, say bye... Another tip I have is to watch the web cams and comment (nicely of course) and what they're up to or ask away... If you don't get a reply, the most logical answer is that those already in the room are already involved with 1, 2, 3 or more conversations and as it generally helps to keep an eye on the handle you're conversing with it is easy to miss questions or comments aimed at oneself, so don't feel ignored, it's not done on purpose. Over time as your handle becomes more familiar you will see it becomes easier to chat. By the way, do you have a webcam? With one on you, you can well find people flocking towards you. For the Emicons... well, go to the 'Anything goes' forum and look for 'New Chatroom Emiticons' copy & paste them to Word so you may have them at your disposal. Happy chatting & Enjoy xXXx
Who would like a bit of :doggy: or :wank: with a newbie? Would love to have some  fun with you all and along the way make my new found friends biggrin . I'll travel & can now accommodate. Drop me a line, I hope to hear from you soon. Until then lol
