Good idea, maybe combine this with the suggestion from for a pre xmas meet from Kingkong? At the moment I think it's the 6 December that is penciled in. Any other takers?

A meet somewhere around London sounds good to me - certainly easier to get to for me!! At the moment the 6 December is good for me. You can put me down as a probable :-)

Sudsy, Well done on the newbies guide, full of good advice :-) I have to admit to 'lurking' in the room as a newbie for quite a while trying to get a handle on how the onversations work and waiting for one i could possibly join in with! It does get a easier with time and it helps that most of the 'regulars' are a very friendly bunch, so thanks Swinging_cat, Kel (of ianandkel), Honeyb, Sue, Mikee and of course Sudsy for making life as a newbie easier :-) Oh and sorry to anyone I missed off the list, no offence intended - just not that good remembering names! The date is i think fine for me, but being a southerner it's a bit of a distance. Having looked at train prices and the flying option, I'm thinking driving is the best option. Does anyone fancy a car share? We can split the fuel costs. I'm in the North of Hampshire, so sharing with anyone from Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire probably make the most sense.
