Apply Castle is a good place, past leegomery and Wellington on the A442 turn left on Peregrine Way and follow the winding road past farley now houses you will see a locked gate on the left drive past and you will see a gate that opens. It’s a well known dog walking area but there are plenty of places to go to dense woodland.
