The good news - yes, it does happen. There ARE SFs and Couples out there who will meet us, possibly rather more than you might think.
The bad news - it will take time! As SMs, we tend to be a little mis-trusted initially. This isn't a criticism of other members, it's just a fact. I believe that the reason for this is that firstly SMs outnumber just about every other group on the site by about 10-1, and secondly a large number of SMs (sadly) treat this site as a sort of online brothel. It isn't.
To be fair, I joined this site with the expectation of pretty easy, free sex. Didn't take me long to work out that that wasn't going to happen! This site is principally about making friendships, with the sex being a rather nice bonus, if you like! It took me 6 months to get my first meet, and the next was a while after that. These days, thankfully, they are far more frequent, but that's only because people now knowo me very well through the chatroom and group meets.
As with any other walk of life, developing the friendship at first takes time. People will want to get to know some more about your personality before they bother to meet you (let's face it, there are so many of us for couples and SFs to choose from that they can afford to be picky! :) )
Theh best advice I can give is for you to frequent the chatroom and get to know people through that route. Come along to the various group meets that are organised (check the forums for upcoming dates) . I'm sure things will happen for you (if I can do it .... ) - just be prepared to work at it
