NEW THREAD FOR LEEDS SOCIAL 8TH SEPT
I'm flying to Portugal on the morning of the 9th from Leeds Bradford airport but given that I live close by, I would like to come along if applications havent closed!
Saw that the Fox69 and missus have put their names down - would be keen to meet up again! lol
If anyone would be kind enough to let me know the details of what happens... where... how... why etc I'd be grateful - not been to a large meet of this nature before

Hi guys and gals...... I am so sorry to have to do this but I am going to have to bow out of organising this social due to personal reasons.
There is no reason why it should not go ahead - hotel has been sorted and rooms are booked..the only thing you guys have to finalise is where you want to go on to once you have all met up at the hotel bar. I really wish I could be there as well as I chat to so many of you nice people but right now that will not be possible.

I will be driving and we plan on being in Leeds at around 3-4 O'clock (if we dont get lost and end up in London).If anyone else is planning on being there on the friday, please can you let us know here as planning on maybe going for dinner on the fri night at around 7-8 ish time. Dont want anyone to be left out or maybe left at the hotel. Drop us a line here and we can arrange to meet up on the friday night, have a meal, have a few drinks, maybe a boogie. And if you lucky maybe some jiggy jiggy.
Maybe good for folks that cant make the Sat night, then they can pop along on the Fri night.
Also a few of you have said that you know Leeds, I havent a clue, never been to the place. But if you can maybe come up with any suggestions of good places to eat, or go to on the fri night then that would be a great help, If we know roughly how many peeps there will be on the fri then we can get something booked. Hope that none of you back out, as us two Scottish birds are coming a long way to have our wicked way with you all.

I'm def going for both nights and am up for a meal on the Friday evening in Leeds -its just a few miles away for me.

Its entirely up to u lot, i have no idea of places to go in Leeds, so would need some help. I would suggest meeting in hotel bar at a certain time and seeing what happens.
Obviously this would involve Venus flashing her arse, Lolly dancing, Mad in a nurses uniform and me looking innocent with CC in the corner !!!!

As for how to recognise people -- at the MK2 social back in June - the lovely Ceylon :clap: came up with the idea of people wearing a small star on their lapel (or wherever )
That worked really well and in the night club I had some great conversations with people I've never met - or seen on cam - simply because they had a star....
Now it just so happens that I have a page full of stars to give away -- and I'm open to offers :D :D

We should get a first birthday balloon to attach to the bar table in the hotel, imagine trying to explain whose birthday it is :lol:
The star idea is good to, but my eyesight plays up and i would still have to get upclose to people before i realise they werent with us, and knowing my luck my star would fall off, and i would get left behind somewhere.
