Manchester Meet ...HOTEL ARRANGED

Hi We have got a hotel lined up for the Manchester meet on the 20th January. We have decided on the Ibis Hotel on Portland Street as this is prob the nearest one to where we will be going out (Gay Village). The phone number is and the price is £57 for a room, When you book Quote this number and your room will be kept on the same floor as us all :123418 You can Gaurantee your room with a visa/debit card and then pay on the day,but if you want to pay by cash on the day you need 1 form of id(passport,Driving licence) Please put a reply if you have a confirmed booking then we have a idea of whos coming Speak soon Chris & Jane

Hi Sorry guys that reference number is not going to work so dont use that when booking you need to book individually. Instead just mention your in our group and they will keep us all on 1 floor. Also the forum wont let me post the phone number so just Message us and we will send it to you,or you could look it up Thanks smile

Hi there's no group name to mention they wouldn't book it as a group,well they would but only if all the booking were linked to my visa which i didn't really fancy :P He said just mention that your part of the group who are coming, they have not asked what is for smile

We've booked the hotel, I mentioned there would be a large group but on individual bookings, didn't really get me anywhere, as there was no reference the lady just booked us a room, can you let me know who you spoke to or any other details that I can give someone. Hi Sorry bout that,the guy i first spoke to was pretty unhelpfull. I will be ringing back on saturday when the group booking supervisor's in and should be able to get something sorted then. And anyone who has booked might have to ring back to re-arrange rooms to suit the group. Let you know sat Cheers smile

Hi I've spoke to the hotel again and they said the only thing to do is when you ring to book the room say that you would like to be close to the "Loveday" reservation ,thats our surname smile

and that will keep us all together. And anyone whos already booked can ring back and say the same thing Thanks Chris & Jane P.s As of today (29 dec)they said they had 9 non smoking and 21 smoking rooms left and that they are going pretty quick so best book soon if your coming biggrin
