I hear what you're saying Curvy about the nightclub killing the conversation - we have an Oceana club in Leeds too and was going to suggest that but maybe not?? As for pubs in Leeds well I know LOADS (piss head that I am ) but as is typical with anywhere on a Saturday night they will be full to the rafters with the usual Saturday night revellers so I need to get my thinking head on for this one and trawl the Yellow Pages - watch this space

The date is i think fine for me, but being a southerner it's a bit of a distance.
Having looked at train prices and the flying option, I'm thinking driving is the best option.
Does anyone fancy a car share? We can split the fuel costs. I'm in the North of Hampshire, so sharing with anyone from Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire probably make the most sense.

Hi sexxy peeps - so we're up to 29 confirmed people who can make it to Leeds on the 28th. Kelly and me are still looking at different venues - lots to choose from - going to settle on the best.
We're sad some of you lovely ppl can't make the weekend - it's a tough thing choosing a date when it means some ppl can and some ppl can't... :cry: ... +please+ don't take it personally.
There's some ideas in the air about getting a group booking in a hotel - need to do some more negotiating.
But the meet is definately on.
Those people who've emailed me direct - definately I'll keep you posted about the details a bit nearer the time.
.. and the Edinburgh ppl getting a meet together .. why not come down to Leeds .. enjoy the party .. convince us to come north to your meet ??

I guess the format will be similar - we'll pick a hotel near the centre for peeps to book into if they like and then choose a nearby bar to meet up. Of course there will be the energetic few who meet up in the afternoon as well :doggy: - you know who you are ;)
Free entry to a nightclub was the icing on the MK cake and it may or may not be possible to fix up the same deal in Leeds. Whatever - a second venue is likely for the night owls. After that any other parties are up to you..
The very attractive Ian_and_Kel have offered local knowledge so a good set of bars is assured.
[B]Room 308[/B] is already reserved for the all-night athletes - so adjacent roomies should bring earplugs - or just go knock on the door and join in 
The date of the meet is going to be the hardest part cos whatever is chosen will not be suitable for some people - but hey there will be other meets like this - well I hope so..

....are days are gone of spending 10 mins fighting just to get to the dam ladys room.... and 15 mins to get a drink....and it didnt help im so short and could only just see over the bar lol..
so a not so busy pub with music where we can all chat/dance would be grt new's... not quiet sure if there is any on a sat nite.. but good luck with finding us all one...
