I hope everyone that wanted a room has got one John!!
May we just mention as we were one of the first to book we have a room with a sofa bed!!! We have found this comes in handy! So if you are short of a place to sleep maybe we could work out terms and conditions lol.
When I asked for a room with a sofa bed, I was asked if we were bringing children? After a long pause when I said no, I blurted out that I find the rooms with sofa beds a little larger and prefer that! One embarrassing silence was broken lol. Oh the lies you have to tell when you swing :devil:
We are still very excited about meeting you all, not enthralled with the long journey first, but hey..........we travel well lol.

If you have not booked your room try ringing the hotel front desk direct - they do still have rooms available at the moment (even though the website shows fully booked).

At the mo our intention is to arrive ASAP at the hotel in the afternoon but with the long journey we have , who knows what time it will actually be. I will have a moustache, glasses and a hat on to disguise my self as I will look shite after that journey lol. Will at some time before the big meet, need a bit of quite time in the room with Russ!! :P

My reply was mmmmwhhh mmbbwah ..

BTW: I think the hotel might be full now - but I'm only going from the website.

Lots of fine people in these forums have made the obvious points that it's about perseverance, humour, respect even and a fair amount of patience..
At a social event of course some of this gets a bit easier – because real expressions and longer conversations are possible.
But chaps, I recommend that you don't hit the vodka too hard or too early or you run the risk of losing the plot and making an arse of yerself like I do from time to time [B]:sorry:[/B] :cry:
