Thanks for the supportive comments guys it really is appreciated :beer: I couldn't see what the problem with single guys is until you come across people like True. I think I'm starting to understand some of the problems that single females and couples have :bs: Hope to chat soon!

Boys, this is jamjarsize8z's thread. If you want to show some respect to him as a newcomer, please continue your spat in either a private mail or start another thread completely called "True vs Fun4" or something... We're all here to show newcomers that SP is a welcoming and warm site which prides itself on respect and fair play. We mean no disrespect as we havent met eithe rof you in person at any time but this thread is not doing yourselves, or the site, any favours and is instead just showing exactly why so many members are leaving. Sorry to put our two-pennth in but its something we care about and feel that the site doesnt need. P&H

Hi Jam, If I could make a suggestion to a newbie single male from a single girl's perspective. It can be hard as a single guy on this site as you far outnumber everyone else! But if you just have a little patience and a sense of humour (which you obviously have!) then things should be fine for you. Just don't make the mistake of thinking you could get a meet straight away. Its always a good idea to get yourself in the chatroom and get to know a few of the regulars. It will take a little while for people to get to know you but it can be a right old laugh in there sometimes. Another good way to get yourself known is to go to one of the socials. Theya re often advertised in the 'Lets Meet Up' section in the forums and it is when a group of us get together and have a drink and a laugh with no pressure attached. At leasst then people can put a face to a profile and its a good ice breaker. Anyway, that was just my two cents worth. Just have fun and enjoy yourself. There are loads of good people on here. Oli x
