Just wanted to say what a top night it was and well worth the journey up to see everyone. It was the first time we have been to a social and was so good to get to see in the flesh so many people we have chatted to for so long. Will defo be going to some more social do's from now on. We had a fantastic time and it was well worth the journey up! Great to finally meet everyone in the flesh, even if we didnt *actually* meet ANYONE in the flesh due to Eleanor feeling decidely worse for wear from Smoke Inhalation!! Of particular note during the evening were the fabulously friendly Mr and Mrs KCManc, Mr Leagues "is he or isnt he" Kilt (He wasnt!)Just as Eleanor had told me the identity of the couple she had felt ought to be our victims, so the smoke decended and that was the end of that...But who were that couple who had such a lucky escape??...and *why* did God choose to punish us at just that moment??...So is life!
