Why can't i type anything in the chatroom?

For about 3 weeks now i have been unable to type anything in the chatroom, but can see other people's words and can see webcams but not type anything myself.

Have you got the latest Java installed ?

You might also need to clear your cache and cookies, tools internet options etc

Yes i had thought of both of those, and it still wont let me type anything. It was ok a few weeks ago, but been like this for a couple of weeks. Post edited 15-04-2007 16:55

Do you get to the site by using Fire Fox? I had problem viewing threads & admin sent me a Fire Fox link & I've had no problems since

Hi curvy sue, no i dont use firefox. I havent been doing anything different than i did before but it suddenly there wasnt a box for me to type like before. I use other chatrooms and webcam rooms and have no problems with those. keithx

This problem will happen if you are using a resolution lower than 1024 x 768. Your view is chopping the chat line off the bottom of your page. You need to increase your resolution by doing the following: - Please click the 'Start' button located bottom left of your screen. - Select 'Control Panel' (sometimes this is under Settings > Control Panel). - Double click on 'Display' - Select the 'Settings' tab. Here you can modify your screen resolution settings. Please increase your resolution to 1024 by 768 and apply the changes. You will now be able to access the chat bar in the chat room and resume using the chat room.
