Jaffa cakes are a biscuit,well they are in my book,hob nobs do have to be dunked into a cuppa,but talking about hob nobs,2 weeks ago we bought a twin pack in our local tesco,and they scanned the till at ,i know they are good but wow,[b]still every little helps [/b] xxxxx

mcvitees didn't want to pay vat on jaffa cakes but the government of the day did :kick: biscuits have vat but cakes don't they entered into an expensive legal battle, hingeing largely on the legal definition for biscuits and cakes :small-print:hence the crunchy to soggy and moist to hard discussion. mcvitees won and so we have cakes in the biccie aisle but i think they are ineligible as a result from the best biccie comp. :thrilled:
