happy valentines for everyone.... i dont think it just lasts one night, it is a full week or year for some peeps lol... its probably really great for all those couples out there; in fact i know it is, as last year i was in love and was trying my damn hardest to make it a brilliant week for him... but what do you do if you are single? i am dragging matt out to the pics... but the romance is obviously not there. anyone got any ideas how i can make it a romantic day for myself....(or a platonic mate) or for all the couples; has anyone got any successful romantic ideas they would like to share. perhaps something that worked for them in the past to make their partner's night/week really special? i am dreading not getting any ! boooooooo. sob sob lol!

Inti. Last year i waited for Chris to go to sleep and then got up and wrote I love you in stones in the garden so when he left he saw it. I wasn't happy enough with that so i went to the bathroom and wrote it on the mirror in shaving foam then went to the kettle and hung his card above on the cupboard so he would find it first thing. Its the small things that count. he loved it and i had a txt to ask me to call him as soon as i woke up !! For me i wore sexy undies to work all day knowing that when i got home he'd see when i undressed and a bottle of wine and a nice meal prepared by chris (who dressed in full suit for me.. he didnt half look like james bond !) It was lovely. I have no idea how on earth we're going to top it this year but i know just being together will make it special. Good luck in finding your special treat for the occassion. xx kc's xx

Rose petals on the bed, candles lit, chilled champagne and a handful of romantic movies by the DVD player ............. and this is just my typical night at home !! ......... OK my idea was to get some flowers a bottle of champagne a basket some red crape paper and make ya a valentines basket with chocolates in it too. Then take you out for a meal for two to a nice restaurant followed by a night in a hotel and lots of naughtyness. Oh and the bed decorated in rose petals biggrin

That was what i would do :D

Now lets be fair ......... its not just women who struggle being alone on Valentines day !! I suppose its just that some of us fella's are shy at showing it and misrepresented, but that doesn't mean to say we don't feel it too tho. I am as soft as a bag of bollocks personally and love to spoil the one i love and have no problems admitting or displaying this either...... but i am also a HUGE equalitist and it should be compeletely complimentary as in the same way the best relationships always are.
