If there's one thing that really winds me up is members who don't reply to messages. Granted I know we're not everyone's cup of tea but a simple "No thanks" would be better than being completely ignored.
We try to reply to all messages we get regardless of who they are from. We feel that if a member has gone to the effort of messaging us, the least we can do is reply.

We get the same and its easy to tell who just deletes them now too with the v2 improvements. Dont worry about it, if they do not have enough decorum to reply to a simple msg there not for you anyway.

OK...I know I am about to go against all the other responses above but...I used to respond to all messages, whether interested or not. However, I am so fed up with people showing no sign of having read my profile/making any reference to it (the standard copy and paste response), saying they 'love my profile' when they have blatantly only looked at my pictures, not showing any interest in whether we are 'a match' or not (i.e. not looked at the status I am looking for) that if they do not show me that respect I will not respond. Any emails that do demonstrate some recognition of the individual they are emailing will always get a response from me.
Just something that has been brought to my attention, my posting was not aimed at anyone in particular and I'm not moaning about people who we've messaged and not replied.
It was just a general comment. Same as G4's comment about people not reading profiles before messaging. We always read profiles before contacting others.
