smooth is best but understand that some think it is a bit odd to have a totally bare pubic area

I like to keep clean-shaven - it generally feels a lot better and cooler too.
As long as you keep up shaving regularly and don't let it grow out so it's unmanageable then that's best. Oh, and use an after-shave balm after as well, to ensure the skin remains free from shave rash.
Shaving rash is one draw back. I find it best not to shave on a daily basis and use a good after shave balm.
a ex once said he prefered some hair to remain eg a landing strip be cause being totally shaven reminded him of pre puberty which made him feel a bit odd.

On a woman if prefer either trimmed and tidy, or totally smooth.
For myself I try to keep it trimmed, though would prefer smooth, but still haven't found an easy, and comfortable, way of achieving it.
Any ideas?
I won't be going down the old waxing route (back, sack n crack!). lol

I know what you're saying, but in all honesty, when girlfriends have shaved, it's never made me think of pre-pubescent girls. It just feels amazing! And makes oral great, not having to keep stopping to find that illusive hair in the mouth lol!

i have used variety of options...
for a major party/social i will wax but generally i use epilator on legs etc but tooooo sore on pubic area - made me cry lol
shave with oil now on mound as it gives a lovely smooth finished result and you can find any remaining stubble more easily to sort

How does that work then, with the oil?
I've done quite a bit of searching on the net to try and find an easy and effective way to remove hair down below but not had much luck so far.
Given us guys have 'bits' dangling about it can be quite a challenge to shave without doing some damage. I've nicked myself (only slightly) a couple of times. And when you see blood coming from that area it doesn't make you want to continue LOL

i always wax. it hurts a little at first but you get used to it.
i always wax. it hurts a little at first but you get used to it.
I can imagine it hurts lol. Is it something you do yourself or do you get someone else to do it?
it isnt that hard. you need to be a bit bendy to reach certain bits but as long as the mirror and you are positioned well then it can be fairly easy. and the more you wax the less the hair grows back. ive been doing it for years so the hair is quite fine now and comes out easy. thank god!

I do like it smooth.

Don't do it Cheeky!!!
I tried it a couple of years ago and lets just say I'll not be doing it again. I could hardly walk properly for about three or four days. And I went to a proper beauty place, so they knew what they were doing.
This is why I'm looking for a less painful option when it comes to hair removal.
