Still seems quiet, where is everyone?

We dont seem to go on this site much anymore simply because there is no bugger on it when we do! I Know its cold out there but the chatroom seems like it has icicles dangling form it at the moment. Love the new look sp, but we wont be joining again when out membership is up.

hi cc, you could go in the chatroom anytime of day and there would always be quite a few peeps in there. Just seems so many of the older members have left the site or use other ones, maybe i need to have a shop around, lol. wink

:wink:[/quote] I agree with you; most of the old faces seem to have disappeared or aren't so active. I've been a full member on here for about five years and have seen a lot of people come and go. The chatroom was always very busy at one time. Now it seems very quiet and quite boring with very little open chat taking place. Personally I'm not mad about the change to the site and wonder if that is part of the reason people aren't here. Wish I could be more positive but it's difficult. I still pop on here every day but it has become more of a 'pop on' than spending a lot of time here. Dave x

Despite being a relative newbie to online dating, contacts and swinging (only been doing it a few months), I have to say that this is the best site I know of. It's the only site where I haven't been badgered by scammers, timewasters and wind up merchants. The people I have met here are genuine on the whole (one or two a**holes but that's just the way of the world). I'm also a member of one of the more popular free sites, but the fact it's free does show. My experience of chat there involves 170 or so men yelling at a handful of couples/single women. I certainly couldn't hold a valid conversation about swinging (one time I actually stumbled into a open debate on general chat about where the best place is to smuggle drugs from and how to do it). I think that paying for a subscription here means that the membership is more dedicated to the Scene. After all if someone just wants to pointlessly harass strangers, it's easier and cheaper to do it on a free site. Personally I hope that this site never decides to go free in the same way. The membership here may not be huge, but it is fairly close at heart. As I've said elsewhere, there is a cameraderie and warmth here that I've never experienced elsewhere. But each to their own...if peeps prefer to go elsewhere then fair enough, but there'll always be a warm and friendly welcome here.

Hi, Ive been a memeber now for a while and have joined other sites, but every evening i seem to drift back to the chatroom where you can chat, ask questions and yes flirt, which i dont seem to able to do on the other sites as i'm that single fem thats gets bombarded by the horny males out there. Ive learnt a lot from the chat and do thank the 'old timers' for their help :rose: Claire xx

Well I can understand what you both (sexie_arse and tank) are saying about chat on free sites. I have witnessed dozens and dozens of guys all trying to chat to a single fem all at the same time. A bit like 'dogs' fighting each other for the 'bitch'! :sad: If you know what I mean. I agree you can't have a proper conversation with anyone either sexy or general when it's like that. I suppose I remember what it used to be like on here and therefore miss that. I guess it may pick up as things settle and new people join, or previous members return. Right... I'm going to try and be positive from now on smile

Well I have noticed a lot of names I don't recognise in chat this last couple of weeks (since the relaunch). Some are completely new, whilst I get the impression that others are returning members. It can be a bit quiet before 9pm, but that could just be due to the current weather conditions (taking longer to get home). After 9pm though...let me put it this way, 5 cams via extras just hasn't been enough wink

Even if there aren't many people on I'm usually there from about 7pm (ish), so if you see me then say hi; I promise I won't corrupt you too much lol

I'd also like to echo what Sexie said earlier. I'd like to thank all the 'old timers' ( :lol: ) for helping me out, explaining things I didn't understand, making me feel welcome, and generally putting up with my weird sense of humour.

the site as changed, i used to log on many a lunchtime and the place wud hav a gud 20 ppl in the chatroom but now theres probably 3/5.... but the site always has these phases.... mayb peeps r jus too busy as the mo wot wiv chrimbo.... i dunno, best not to get too down hearted tho..... im gonna try sat nite, always used to b a wicked nite on sat and see how that feels.... either way i aint goin anywhere.... funky xx:angel:
