Can anyone tell me if there has been any couples who have seperated because of getting involved in the swinging scene. A few couples I have chatted to says that it has brought them closer together, but can it be just consentual fun for everyone or can it end in a relationship disaster?

we have been within this lifestyle for a couple of years and yes have seen several couples split whilst engaging in swinging scene... However, it would appear that most of these relationships were already lacking something and swing was either a rubbish attempt to patch this up or a device to expose weaknesses... What appears fantastic in fantasy may create undiscovered and new negative emotions when the reality occurs xx It may be that in some cases this works, but from our perspective it appears daft to start swinging if unhappy with current relationship. If people have a very stable relationship, are making a truly equal decision and both able to communicate very openly about any issues arising from swing/playing then we would say 'come meet us'...lol To underline all the above - Take care, have fun....We do xxx Jel & N xxx

Unfortunately yes we've seen a fair few couples split because they joined the swing for all the wrong reasons. We swing together because we enjoy the eroticism of the lifestyle together and making new friends with like-minded people although we could never swing apart from eachother. It has to be said that couples who aren't 100% happy with all aspects of their relationship are on the road for disaster. Swinging does not mend relationships. Although our sex life has always been good swinging has just enhanced it even more. 2 years in to it and we're still having the time of our lives and have made some super friends too. mwahxxxxxxxxxxx ceylon
