That sounds g8 an update to site as i think you agree a lot people are not happy with so many problems especially the chat room, but hey any update is a good thing and look forward to the new look.

Noticed this thread while browsing the forums, we were informed towards the end of last year that there was going to be an enhancement in the chat room with the ability to view multi cams & a general upgrade, nothing happened. This thread was started by admin almost two monthe ago & still no obvious progress. We understand these things take time & need to be system tested etc.,it would however be nice for the members to be kept updated on progress & also a date when we can expect these changes to be implicated, and the full extent of what wonders await us.

To update this thread, unfortunately we did encounter some delays which has added time on the finish date for V2. Perhaps we were too optimistic with the initial deadline.
We hope that there is not many bugs found which will help speed things up ;)
With regards to the chat room server performance, we were aware of some problems the weekend before last but nothing reported since. What is the highest amount of users that you have seen recently? To be honest, the user level should be no where near peaking in respect to the server capacity.
well I've had 130 in room with me at some points admin... it can struggle sometimes..
well yeah...... there are no indicators when its gonna go..... has done with 10 in the room too!!!! :O

I just know I am going to regret saying this but "peak performance" doesn't seem to be the issue here. I have seen the chatroom crash with far less than the 130 users babydevil mentions. When it does crash, it crashes over and over again though.[/quote]

ur4it is right, we are all disappointed that the chat room has taken so long to finish. The development is being done externally by the best person that money can buy - we can all understand that problems will crop up and thankfully these were isolated before the chat room was put onto the site. Frustrating, but the finished product is worth waiting for.
