is there any nice person who can ski and is willing to help me? my lady ski's but when we went on holiday thinking she would assist ha ha! she just pissed off all day every day! booring! oh well my problem I guess! but would like to learn with a buddy who can encourage had have fun with "realy not much fun on my own" :-? :-? :-? idid teach some years ago with army but not able to now sobb sobbbbb . whare and when youoff to??? biggrin

May go to Andora? but in the mean time I was thinking of giving the dry slopes a bash, my big problem is I can not stop I need to learn how to controll my speed and the "PLOW" does not work for me? so need to do this zig zag stuff and hocky stop??? :O

why isnt the plow working for you. as long as you put all your body weight onto one leg the skis will push you to turn, and therefore slow you down as your not going directly down the slope. I really recommend getting the basics down before trying anything more advanced as you will end up hurting yourself. When I was 8 on my first skiing trip I was convinced I was really for the black run and ended up going into a bridge pmsl believe me it puts a downer on ya holiday!! Good luck though mwah xxxx smile
