Hiya Kaz you sexy lady I have very sensitive skin so when I've shaved I use an antiseptic cream like sudocrem to moisturise but also protect my skin from getting sore - hope that helps hunni biggrin
Try Veets aftercare cream - Hair minimiser moisturiser. It does what is says on the tin (well tube anyway) lol You'll get it at most high street chemists.
Yep Veet is the way........ 8)
Thanks gals will try them and let you :P Post edited 13-03-2007 19:27
From the point of view of a male who regularly shaves his pubic area, I always smooth over after shaving with Nivea after-shave replenishing balm. I know this post is ostensibly for the women, but my point being that there may well be a female equivalent for things like underarm, legs etc... Worth checking places like Boots for these things, as the balm I mentioned above really does soothe, and prevent irritation. If there is a female equivalent, I would definitely recommend it. I also shave my head, and the replenishing balm (probably what it was intended for in the first place!) also works there, preventing itching as long as you keep up regular shaving (about every 2nd day).
ill give my two pennuth worth even tho its been a long time since i shaved me bits biggrin but funnily enuff, only the other day i was using 'stumbleupon' and got sent to a site about shaving (chins that is)....so as best as a i can remember....... 1....use hot water to start with as it excites the hairs and use cold water to rinse as its cool 2....use a decent shaving gel......(but not as i did recently......shaved a freinds bits for her....only gel we had was my own which had menthol in it.......she said it burned more than 100 times worse than that durex 'tingle' lube :D :D) 3.....and here the interesting bit...use a single blade razor.....dermatologists think the currant fad for razor makers to put 2 or 3 or 4 blades on a razor is bad for the skin....first blade cuts the hair then the next blades cut the skin...causing rash....and shave in direction of hair growth...not against it 4...use a good moisterizer after doing it 5...keep it up and dont let the stubble grow back 8)
When doing any kind of hair removal just make sure what ever you put onto the skin after has no fragrance added to the product. Don't have a hot shower or a bath for at least 12 or so hours. Def no swimming etc for the same time length. Obviously no tight cloths. And if you do find yourself a little sensitive after then holding something cold to the area should make it feel more comfortable. Personally i wouldn't suggest shaving down there on anyone at anytime. But some peoples skin have no reaction when doing this. Id say immac would be the best way forward but ive seen some people have really bad reactions with that as well. Maybe just try a little patch test and see how its goes. God its like being back at work?? lol Hope it goes well!! lol :moon: smile
To you guys out there DONT use clippers if you miss it hurts like f**k   :O sad lol :wank:
huniz yes ive been there love hell that hurts and makes you abit shy about doin it again lol
We use two different methods Q removes A's with veet but makes sure it is totally Showered off & then use moisturiser. A Removes Q's with his clippers but it us imperative he is wearing his glasses lol. Then after shower use moisturiser. Happy defoliating ;)
