I understand that numerous members are having authorisation problems when attempting to log into the video chat room.
I appreciate your time taken to contact myself advising your concerns.
After bugging my colleague regarding this matter, a few alterations have been made which should resolve all of the authorisation problems experienced.

And in any case - question :-
If your site says that 208 new people register each day, then doesnt only 210 people being allowed to chat at any one time seem a ridiciously small number ?
Surely if there is that many joining then the numbers allowed into the chatroom need to be bigger.
Dont get us wrong we do understand the problem that so many people in a chatroom at anyone time may result in problems of it becoming very slow or kicking people off but surely to have new chatroom open as soon as the numbers in one rise to say between 70 - 100. Then you would have an open ended number of chatrooms and satisfied customers. At the moment the number allowed in the chatroom is only able to cope with each new influx per day not the 121,000 members you say your site holds already.
Hopefully someone will see some sense in this.

There may be a limit of 70 users allowed in any room, but in reality if all were chatting it would clearly be mayhem!!. Lots just pop in and lurk in the shadows, perhaps nervous to join in or waiting for a 'show' to occur!...xxx

We dont have any problems joining chatroom at all??
Im getting fed up - and that takes a lot!! - i got booted off today (sunday) and have been trying for an hour to get back in - with no luck. I understand that there is only a certain amount of chatters that can be in the room at once, but on Friday night there was loads and no probs - why this morning?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated - by the way I much prefer the new room now - when I can get in

I am trying to resolve the problem which is 99% caused by security software installed on most peoples machines. I have had hundreds of cases where members have uninstalled such software and now their access to the chat room has resumed as it was before.
Examples such as Norton, McAfee, Zone Alarm, Etrust have all caused problems.
The chat room needs members to authenticate with the server and such security software is withholding the login information inputted to login the site, hence so many auth error messages.
The link you provide is the same link when accessing the chat room so there is no reason that this should work and the link on the site should not.

I to do not understand it I have made no changes to my puter before or after the launch of the new chat room yet the link I use seems to work every time I think the main difference is that you go to sp home page log in and it gets straight to the chat room instead of via the normal route so maybe this is the sticking point yet I cannot get in when I try to log in on the normal log in page. I do know whoever I send it to finds the same, Use the link and we get straight in ?????
Maybe you can tell me why that is

I have Zone Alarm and never have any problems getting in.
You are aware that when you open chat room that it over runs any access to the site as before u could click a link and open in new page but now u cant unles u close chat room down by back space or access it via view profile.
is this how it will always be ???

If you mean when you try and look at someone's profile from the chat room list I for a long time found that it opened a new window and I had to log in again but on closing that window I was back in the chat room. For me this still happens as before
PS Please do what RWB has asked and write any site problems on his thread so we can all see and respond to any thoughts or prolems

YOu get the usual login page, log in as normal and it takes you straight to the chat room
Thanks to Rach for helping me this morning and gave me that quicker if you dont delete your history look the above up and go from there
