I've found another problem in the profiles. When entering the date of birth for both members of a couple, the second one entered resets to the first one entered, if you know what I mean.
For example, Jeanne's dob is 6 March and mine 17 September. On saving the changes, mine is saved a 6 September.

Can you give me an example of what your searching for as I have been unable to re-create this one.

This is more on a related note. The listing of favourites seems to be in a completely random order.

I think you'll find they do. Unread messages are in bold font. Unfortunately with this particular font its's not much different to the standard so it's difficult to tell.
Regretably I have to agree with your shambles comment. Although it looks very good, the new site was/is riddled with problems that some simple testing would surely have shown up prior to launch. This is a subscription site and for my money the service is just not good enough.
Admin seem to have stopped reading this thread. They are certainly not responding to the issues. Is there a new release due that will address the outstanding issues that your users are telling you about? If so when?
Problem with partners dob being reset after update should be fixed
New mail notifications are working ok for me, was this an old bug or is it still happening? If its still happening could you check the notification settings in the 'my profile' section to see what its set to.
Mailbox count should show correct when you first login now.
Favourites problem should also be fixed
The chatroom count is not real time but is updated every 10 mins. So that would explain why the count differs to the actual amount in the chatroom.

Email notifications definately not working and profile set correctly.
Mailbox count is working
Favourites problem still not sorted completely - although better bacause it ahows 'Browsing'. My favourites show lillyandchad in the chatroom and they are not in any of the rooms.
Member Search ...
This doesn't seem to work as it used to when you're searching on a partial name. I tried ssearching on "1998" (to find 1998_7610) and got no matches.
As a test, I tried searching on my own name as "Suds", rather than "Sudsy". The search seems to return any name or profile that contains the string "%suds", but nothing that matches "suds%".
This is going to lead to a lot of failed searches if I'm not totally sure of a member's name!

Hi Nick,
It used to be possible to click on the postcode in a member's profile (i.e. "select" it), and it took you to a page showing all members in that location. It also told you what that location was!
Now, clicking on the postcode in a profile does absolutely nothing, so we need to look up the location separately using another site that has a postcode reference facility on it. Not impossible, but very inconvenient!
I still find the Search Members by Name facility very poor now, too, as I hinted earlier. I've done some more experimenting, and it seems that unless you type in the EXACT spelling of the member's name, the search fails. I've even found at least one member (cexx) where I can't get their details even with an apparently correct spelling! Often, after a chat session, I want to look someone up again, but have forgotten the precise spelling of their name because I've only chatted to them once or twice. Having to get the name exactly right now means I often fail to find their profile again.
For example, on the old site if someone searched for "Sud", they'd get numerous profiles such as Sud, Suddy, Sudden, Suds, Sudsy, Sudsly etc. This doesn't happen any more.

Email notifications still not working
Favourites listing is still kack. Looking at my inbox earlier today it showed a number of my favourites online in the little box to the left. Went into my favourites list tonight and it shows at least one of them as online a week ago.
I read an explanation that some favourites are shown as on-line when they are not because they haven't logged out. Suggest not logging out is the norm.
And what is the sort order of the favourites list?
The favourites functions are really beginning to annoy me.
