This arguement is based on the fact that someone would pull your unique ID out of the air and want to type this into google. You are able to mimic this because you know your own ID and consequently find your own profile.
I'll take the closest example -
If you type 1998 into google, you'll find thousands upon thousands of sites that mention the year 1998 - the account on this site wouldn't be listed in the results because it isn't how google works. You would need to enter the exact unique ID which is 1998_7610.
We accept unique usernames/aliases on the site to aid your privacy. If you have selected a name that someone in the real world knows and you think that they would type this into google for an unknown reason, please PM an admin to have your name changed.
We allow aliases, non specific locations and private galleries for those users who are concerned about their privacy. There is absolutely no way that we would want to exploit this.
This post has been made to prevent an unnecessary scare and give you some information on how google works. I hope that I don't see people pulling this post apart and interpreting something totally different than what it was intended for.
