The latest one had me laughing - to imagine that anyone can sing "Think" better than Aretha Franklin. From what I can gather, Halifax regularly host karaoke audtions for their members of staff who want to appear on their ads. Erm, maybe they should have stayed with their karaoke nights, and not think of giving up their day job as cashiers/advisors/bank managers/annoying cold callers trying to sell loans (delete as applicable).
Having said that, the amount of people who think I look like Howard Brown from the ads.......the bloody cheek of it!

Post edited 27-02-2007 20:14 I am doing this reclaiming of bank charges from the Halifax. According to my records they are due me over £1300 for 6 years of charges plus interest. So everytime I see the advert I want to put my fist through the TV. However, I expect to win my battle with them and will be singing & dancing all the way to my new bank!!!

Good luck Sue, but they may have already spent your claim on their latest ad! :lol: guys i love the halifax add's as they have used real people who work there rather than models... all tho i do agree with the pictures loan adverts... if we were after a lone i wouldnt be following si round with a cam while hes plays with the ball in his other hand " id be the one making the call as im bossy and get what i want "

The Halifax one is a bit naff, but i agree with jayne_damian, the picture loane one is just :wank:
Excuse me. My friend makes those Halifax ads (in fact I was involved in one or two myself ... another story!) So any negative remarks you make I will take personally ... and never ever speak to you again in the chatroom (well...maybe not for five minues) 
They are naff - not like the old Halifax ads from years ago that looked very good from a choreography view. You now the ones I mean:
Like the skaters (or was it rollerskaters) skating like the inner workings of a clockwork watch
And there was the one with "Moon River" being sung "Oh yeah!"
