There are quite a few couples profiles which, whilst stating that they are looking for, amongst everything else, a "straight single male", it is counteracted with the line NO SINGLE MALES within the text.
What do people read into "straight single male"? OK, there's no real room for error, as "straight couple" is always an option. If a single male (not me) looks at the "looking for" section, then goes in head first and sends the couple a message, is he right to be confused if they come back to give him a flea in his ear?
I think more care should be taken when writing profiles: just like "No Means No", then "straight single male" in a criteria should mean just that. If you don't want to meet a single male, then fine - a lot of couples don't, and that's quite understandable, but please don't mislead.
On the same hand, to the couples who do this. Do you ever wonder why you receive a barrage of internal mails from single guys, when that's not really what you're looking for? Don't get me wrong: I read every profile thoroughly before I'm convinced that I fulfil a criteria, but you should remember that there are a minority out there, who are not quite as meticulous.

I realise , , if all of the above applied , I would still get replies , due to being a single female . However I still get emails that totally contradict what I'm looking for . Most dont even bother to personalise the mail , but just copy & paste to all, ( a , hello Tally , would get my attention , more than a picture of a limp / semi / erect , penis.

This used to annoy me when I first came to the site , as I used to do everything wrong , you know , send a cock pic ( who want's to see that ugly thing lol ) Put a cheap one liner in ( " Fancy a shag luv " ) and not read anyone's profile in depth , just get excited when I noticed on left hand side ... oooooh they want a Straight Single Male , that's me !! lol

there are always people who say how rude some people are not replying to their messages. This moan has nothing to do with swingingcat who started the thread, or anyone who has been apart of it, its just sort of relevant to what im going to nater on about lol

our profile clearly states among other things that we are looking for singles or couples around the ages of 18-35, and single males to only contact us with a facial pic.
now, believe me this isnt the first time, i have just had a email from a chap, saying how he loved what he read in my profile and would like to get to know us more. this man wasnt anywhere near the age group, and was there a facial pic urm... no? so im abit confused about what he liked in my profile?? lol
people, we are not stupid, we know when you copy and paste emails and send them to as many people as you can. but its just starting to hit a nerve with me.
also random invite to gallery's, from people i have never spoken to before, and what's in there, willy pics. unless you have dressed your manhood up in a dress, or something funny lol, i dont want to see it.

It's really nice when someone sends you there private gallery with an accompanying message, But we don't know how to respond when someone only sends the gallery. We haven't got a private gallery and we're not into picture swapping. It just seems a little bit random. We would much rather get to know people.
WOW Cat you certainly opened a can of worms on this one lol. We occasionally do meet single males but we also stipulate that we have an age limit of 40 and that it isn't often we meet single males. We too have been contacted by loads of people (both single and couples) who are over the age limit we have set and we aren't being ageist its just that we are only 29 and our parents are in their late 40's and shagging people our parents age just doesn't appeal to us. We hate having to send the "thanks but no thanks" mails when someone has contacted us who clearly hasn't read our profile properly along with the ones that have no pics and then when we ask to see pics and they're not really our type we hate having to say that too. I think most people on here have experienced problems of some shape or form we've definately had our fair share but guess the only thing left to say is ONWARDS and UPWARDS and TALLY-HO CHAPS MOVE ON and HAVE SOME FUN
