A lot of it is caused by the male member of a particular couple, who thinks he's so better than everyone else in the room, bragging about their so-called adventures, and has a particular penchant to look down on, and run down and insult single males wherever possible (everything about them is me, me, me, me - and all single males are just a piece of shit on the sole of his shoes). He is just smug, big-headed and can be quite obnoxious (no change in the 7 years I've seen him on here). Trying to be the big I-am and making single males look small for no reason isn't at all big or clever. Also acting like a primitive predator when 'verbally forcing themselves' on females in the chat room is bang out of order. There's also a female who acts the same. There's your answer.
Sounds like i'm best of not bothering. I struggle to get on there with my not so smart phone and big thumbs anyway lol
if there are people creating a bad atmosphere then anyone can report them and really should do so... that is the only way to improve the situation. generally the chatroom can be a lot of fun and we all need to get in there, chat, joke and flirt etc to make the most of it please don't be put off... good members make good times wink
I rarely go in there anymore, and when i do, i no longer join in to be honest. I just go in, see if there's anything interesting going on with the cams (usually there isn't lol!), get bored, then leave. I'm aware that i'm not really helping the situation in there, but no-one really has anything to say!?!

I'm not one to be shouted down, but this is the closest I've come to naming and shaming the two idiots (male of a couple and a single female - and I'm sure I'm not alone on this), but I will be ever watchful in the chatroom from now on and will report where I feel necessary, paying particular attention to these two people.

omg swing cat i am so pleased you feel the same way as me !!! i thought and was told of this member i was paranoid...........and did begin to wonder if it was just me? i have been on this site for 4 years and felt very intimidated and just read chat without talking in room ........but now i know other ppl feel same i will not keep quiet lol .xxxxxxxx
we can only repeat what rosie has already ststaed, please please report these members to us either via a report form or when we are aound have a word with us.
I must admit I don't bother with the chatroom for similar reasons to those already mentioned. Though my current profile is new I'm not new to the site (I deleted my old one with the intention of not returning), I was on here for six years as 'Midsdave'. I can remember, with fondness, when the chatroom was really busy (30 or 40 people in there, or more) and there were plenty of friendly couples and singles in there. Everyone was made to feel welcome and those who stepped out of line were dealt with. The vast majority of the original 'regular' members have left now. When I search for the people I knew either their profile has been deleted or they haven't been online for months and months. It's like the community has left/died. Very sad.
well if you get in there and chat then we can create a new group of folks dave... never too late to revive
i never feel comfortable in there now so just don't use that part of the site
well u shul hun give it a try things are bit etter now lol xxx
but whenever i look there only ever seems to be half a dozen or less people in there. is it worth it?
Far too much unsolicited whispering occurs. It's a constant problem for us.
you can notify admin of your dislike of unsolicited whispers via this link
Were pretty new to this site and were enjoying the chat room a lot. abend69 and many others are making us feel welcome. We are very used to chat rooms and the trick is to "chat". If you feel offended by comments, ignore them or report them if you feel personally attacked. We have found admin on this site to be fair and quick to help. All we need now is for more of the chat voyeurs to take a deep breath and join in the banter. > Just a newbies opinion wink
Hello Swingin_cat, Long time no see! I wonder who you could be referring to! lol
i have just recently joined, tonight in fact, and i have always found chatrooms to be a minefield. a room full of people with different thoughts and views on what is concidered appropriate or funny is always a recipe for the unknown. as for naming and shaming, maybe it would be better to quietly have a word with them, maybe send a message just explaining your view, and sorting it out like people just don't see the effect their having on others.
[quote="kay-de"]you can notify admin of your dislike of unsolicited whispers via this link Yes you can complain, but why would we go in the forum just to make a complaint ? It happens all the time this banal whispering.
I appreciate your meaning, however it needs admin to have the issue brought to their attention by members in order for them to be aware of the problem and through the link is the way to bring it to their attention. Thanks
Why don't you just turn the whispers off??
Lottie, it's all very well having a private word with the offenders "in an adult manner" - however, from experience, most of these people behave in anything but an adult manner when confronted.
