I'm sure i read a thread the other day bout a site where you enter some info and it comes back with your address. can someone please point me either to the thread or the website. I would like to remove my address from this particular site Many thanks Duane

Hiyas DGC. Really cannot see that such a site exists, the nearest anybody will get to you is the IP address allocated for your online connection by your ISP, so I suggest you dont fret about such things...xx

Who ever it was must have been talking about either Autoroute or the BT disc. Postcodes will give a location within 100 yrds but no good without the house number. Don't panic!

there is actually such a website i cant remember what it is called but if you type in a surname and an area it comes back with information like name address phone number and family members i think BT or some other company were going to take it off the net because it was an infringement of peoples privacy rights .................... the reason i know this is because i found myself on it but i cant remember what it was called

There are quite a few websites that you can find this sort of information if you're willing to pay - 192 (with the bit that normally comes after it just to get round the censor!) springs to mind for a start.
