....putting dots in their thread titles? We are running out of dots and if this practice continues we'll be forced to ration them or issue substitute punctuation such as colons, backslashes etc.
This might make posts in the forum rather more difficult to read, e.g. My thread title\\\\\ plus you'll be forced to leave off the full stops at the end of sentences As I'm sure you'll agree this will make life a lot harder: It just won't be the same We are expecting a delivery of more dots soon but in the meantime please use them sparingly\

As a member of the Milton Keynes Morse Code Society (MKMCS) I must applaud your public spiritedness in these hard times.
Due to the lack of dots our society is suffering terribly, and those people in drastic situations keep sending out distress signals which read OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
As you can appreciate, it makes things rather difficult for us to differentiate between copulating couples and people in need of help.
Please use your dots wisely.

This is the voice of the Shepway district punctuation society (SDPS) this is a formal warning for misuse of dots by a representative of MKMCS in the last post it has been duely noted that 4 "dots" were used when in short supply
Please note this can not continue--check no dots are present in post before hitting enter lol
Apparently the reason the delivery of new dots has been held up is that there is some confusion over whether the dots we ordered actually comply with EC regulations on the size and shape of dots approved for use within the EC\ In other words the ones we ordered may not in fact comply with the Euro-dot standard which determines that anything outside a particular size and shape must be referred to as a "blob"\
This means they may have to be sent back to the manufacturer and recycled, which is a tricky process because the little buggers don't like being melted down and try to escape if you don't keep them in a dot-tight container\ We'll bring you any more news on this as we get it, but for now please try and use the ones we have left sensibly\

Please be sure to plant only "certified" dot-seed. Of course, to ensure good germination you must plant out the mature male and female plants in any of the recognised combinations (MMF or FFM is perfectly acceptable)[/quote]

xxxi think that you will find that from the begining of this thread, and yes i was around at that point,i had all the dots all along and im not giving them back as they are now happy living in my little dotty parlour and have done so for several years,
if you ask nicely and form a queue they will be released back into the swinging community to fulfil there proper roles in life, althought i may add that if you happen to adopt a selection of dots that you treat them with the upmost respect that they deserve or the dotty police will be after you,
requests in writing please or they will all die and never be seen again

They havent grown much...! Have you been looking after them properly..?!?!? I would have expect some growth in the time frame you have had them

they are in fact still only a few months old as they are not being allowed to grow old with grace, and therfore shall never be free to get bigger, i can assure you all that because of this there has been nodeaths, and have not had to have anyfunerals,
theleader who i am particularly fond of would like you all to know that they are being well looked after, if not a bit cold,
i am off now to let a few free to have there monthly get together and in the hope that i gain a few more dots in a couple of weeks, they are so cute when they are babies
