cam advice needed

Hi all well I've been here for a little while and have been chatting and making friends with all the great people here. however I don't own a cam and so I think I should get one. (however why people want to see my ugly mug I don't know) so does anyone have any suggestions on which cam to get. I've never owned or used one so am a real novice here. thanks in advance hugs to all Shifty1104

We use the Logitech Messenger cam's, but the technology has moved on since we purchased these. When in PC World say its to communicate with family abroad!! Not to pull the ladies!!...lol

we have a creative one as well. as we have a laptop creative do a nice one that fits on top of the screen. biggrin

My vote goes to the Creative webcam too - although I rarely actually turn mine on (don't want to frighten the rest of the room) Being the cheapskate that I am though, I'd suggest going into PC World to see what they recommend, and then come home and have a look on e-bay to see if you can get one cheaper!

Thanks for all the advice gang. even though I work in I.T I've never bothered with a cam so it's all new to me. I'll do some investigation and see what I can find. and also see if Ebay is cheaper who know's you may be able to see my face on line soon (and that'll scare the kids) hugs Shifty1104
