Ummmmm I have a question for you all... I have been on this site for about 5 months now and I have only just noticed the bananas in the top right of the screen. What is with that? Is it meant to be some sort of phallic symbol or something? Or does the yellow just go with the overall colour scheme of the site?? Just something silly for us all to ponder in this gloomy almost winterish weather... :bounce::crazy::bounce:

Good question Oli..........and I seem to remember there was the same question on a similar thread ages ago, and no one came up with the answer. I would guess its a phallic symbol :rascal: and the colour matches the site colours....pretty obvious huh? I prefer my bananas a little green and under ripe actually. I like to get my teeth into something and dont like my fruit soft :giggle: A cucumber or a courgette or even a marrow wouldnt have the same impact :haha: Anyway, hope that helps :happy::happy:rotflmao

It could also be far simpler.. Swinger Personals started out as a banana producer back in the day but lost out to Chiquita in the banana wars of 1928. The SP Webmaster then turned his / her attention to the world of swinging (it was like fate!!)... The rest is history.... The banana picture is therefore a nod to the history of SP.... Saying that, I prefer the phallic idea (soft fruit, nice to bite)... My mental imagery is good right now!! :lick:
