I have to say i am with Fife's ALL the way on this one - they have been the voice of reason in all this, and like them i have been a long term member of this site and seen FAR too many charasmatic and key members either be banned or leave this site out of pure frustration. There are too many people commenting on this banning of a cpl of prominent members thinking it may only be a relatively isolated incident ....... but its not !!
I appreciate admin's intervention in these matters but there has not always been inpartiality on their behalf and this inconsistency leaves the friends of the banned people feeling aggrevied too - just look at the response so far ...... !!
All credit to admin for leaving this thread running tho - i thinks its just an indication and acknowledgement of the current state of the site by allowing us to express the unrest - and about bladdy time too - but i also think the site administrators also know that there are always going to be people to replace other members and come on to the scene ...... but its also naive and short sighted to have this attitude as i know a LOT of people on the scene .... and this site is getting a bad reputation and as always - its easier and cheaper to retain members by servicing them and listening to their needs that trying to market to new transient members - just a thought !!
I could bang on about why i renewed my membership - but trust me, i also dithered because this place is not what it once used to be back in the day...... but as i always say .... bones heal.... chicks dig scars..... and America has the number one doctor to daredevil ratio in the whole world - God bless America !! lol :P

Well ..... maybe it just got to the point where they can no longer really ignore a good valid point ...... but this place does seem like beating your head against a brick wall sometimes ..... and will that really make a difference in the end - i think not !! lol xxxx
These situations will always occur ....... its just the manner in which they are resolved that counts i suppose !!??
I have seen them happen time and time again and i refuse to get involoved or take sides myself - not because i am a fence sitter but because of the principle that this is ALL about having fun ...... and when its not, then stop it.
But there is FAR too much bitching and back biting on this site, and most sites to be fair and too many people do not have the ethos to be proper swingers and lots of people have hidden agenda's etc - i mean ...... a lot of peeps don't even meet on here FFS - what is that all about ??!!
Awwhhhhh well - we will see this all arise again very shortly no doubt ...... now what did i say about that brick wall ?? lmao xxxx

Well due to a VERY heavy work load of both full time work and full time Uni the ab's have slipped a bit - the only workout they get now is from all the fun i have ..... like i am complaining tho !! lol xx

I had met Kel and Ian and a nicer cpl you couldn't wish to meet. I bought a similar point up last week in reply to Saint and that thread was pulled rather quickly as admin don't want to ' rock the boat '
It is one of the reasons i myself have been in this site myself. I don't do backstabbing and BS and pollitics - this is just about fun and aren't swingers meant to be open minded, liberal live and let live people ??!!
I myself have seen FAR too many nice peeps be edged out of here - while most of the ars* holes seem to thrive and proliferate - typical of this place tho eh ! Well, i won't write too much as this won't be here long i think ..... as we still aren't allowed to express our opinions still .............

I used to live in Colchester and my sis lives in Hertford Heath ..... and its about time i paid them a visit i think !! I am sure you can see how genuine i am ..... and that i do travel ..... BOTH ends of the counrty !! lol xxxx

Well said hunni ...... i have been a member here quite awhile now myself and i have seen behaviour such as this before - it lead to me becoming sick of all the bad feeling it created in the room between a few members and also resulted in the loss of a few fantastic regular members too !!
I left the site myself for awhile and discovered a new fab site where peeps actually meet without all the BS that was happening on SP at that time - but the chat room was no where near as social and fun as here, hence me popping my face in from time to time to chat. The chat room here is a fab place with lots of great peeps wanting to have a laugh and a good time.
There is far too much pollitics and back biting in the room at times tho and this ISN'T what swinging is about at all. It should be about having fun with like minded people without judgement or jelously....... and if it isn't then you should stop it now !!!
Without prattling on ..... this whole malarky is all about meeting nice likeminded people who want to have fun, and not to be taken too seriously - so lets get back to it eh peeps !!! lol xxxx

I appreciate what Cat is saying as i have witnessed this kind of behaviour myself and its almost smacks of elitism and other, not so successful peeps having their noses rubbed in other peeps success - no on likes a braggard i suppose and this will always be the case.
Its all just in the way peeps come across i think. This whole malarky should all be about fun - and if its not you are either not doing it right .... or you should stop !! lol xxxx
God only knows i may have alluded once or twice to heading off on a meet while chatting in the room - some peeps even have the bare faced cheek to call me a flirt too !! lol - and once peeps have actually met they can then continue to be flirtacious on another more friendly personal level - but just where do you draw the line ?? As Cey said, and in most cases, its just better to ignore certain behaviour unless it is impacting too much on other members etc.
All long as its all good fun and no one loses an eye ......... carry on swinging peeps !!! lol

Hey Kel babe, i hope you crazy kids are well and i have missed you guys too babe - just been SO busy with my degree AND work both full time now, so i get a lot less time - plus i am busy conquering another site ..... but still keeping my finger in ( ooooh errrrr missus lol ) - see the recent feedback !! Hehehehe xxxx
I will do my best to keep popping in to see the old skool regs too.
BTW - that is Annapurna Basr Camp to Mr R and it was fab - i loved every step !!
