Back in the day when I was diving, we used to use Boots Water based lubricant for two reasons:
1. Being water based it didn't rot the rubber seals like oil does, and
2. It dissovled in water, so if the neck or cuff seals started leaking, it would dissolve and re-seal again.
Don't know if it helps but may be worth a try. At least it's a lot easier getting of the skin than any oil based product.
