There is a regular spot next to the Consett and Blackhill bypass. Coming out of consett Front St, take your second right on the roundabout next to the McDonnalds drive through. Follow the bypass down along Bury Edge. The site is on your left hand side before the Blackhill turn-off. A large open area next to industrial estate. Doggy action regularly on Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun evenings particul:arly in warm weather! 10 pm onwards. NOTE: popular with boy racer lads who can be a nuisance revving engines- others are just as keen to join in some action and some just sit in the darkness of their cars with the local skirt theyv'e just picked up! Mostly in car action- rarely outdors however, its a good area for this. Flash lights or side lights for action but avoid using ful beams as to dazzle people. Also sound your horn if u think others have genuinely come for the same. Beware as the odd dogwalker may arrive late on late. Being a large open site, its a popular area for pple to take their dogs for a run. Those tend to be in a 4x4 jeep so be aware as I think they too are curious as to what goes on.
